Eight Ways to Find Ideas for Blog Posts
Since I could not find anything to write about today, I decided to write about where I usually look and what I usually do to find blog post ideas. Many times I have something to write about but there are those days that creep up and I feel like I have gone brain dead.
Below is a list of things I do and places I look to find blog post ideas:
- Keep a running list – I usually jot down blog post ideas when they come to me daily. However, with my recent schedule I have not done that and of course with my great organization skills I can’t find the old list.
RSS Scrapers – What To Do?
There has been some recent talk about people getting their content stolen by RSS Scrapers. While I knew what RSS and an RSS scraper were I realized that many may not. I also wondered is there a way to solve the problem of RSS scraping.
Let’s start with RSS which stands for Really Simple Syndication. According to Wikipedia “an RSS feed is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format.” The purpose of an RSS feed is to allow readers to receive notices of changed content of a site.
The Top Ten De-Stress List
There was a suggestion over at BloggerLuv to write how each of us deals with stress. I thought is was a great idea, no one is immune to stress and as online entrepreneurs we may all have some great suggestions for one another.
While there are many ways I deal with stress there is one thing I thought would be the best for this post. It is the piece of paper I stare at daily while sitting at the computer. Awhile ago I typed some of my favorite improve your attitude quotes and this list helps me on a daily basis.

It is not usual for me to cuss in my blog posts, let alone name my post with a cuss word, but upon hours of brainstorming I still could think of no other appropriate title.
Recently, I read a few blog posts cutting other bloggers down. Complaining about their blogs, who the owners were, and their character in general was the theme of these posts. Now, I understand the points of making a post like that, and that is that it will get readers and comments.
