What Is The Google Analytics Bounce Rate?

If you are not using Google Analytics I recommend getting it installed. I wasted much of my blogging time with out knowing my stats and other features that Google Analytics has to offer. I had heard of Google Analytics, I just never took the time to install it.

I would like to use this post to discuss the bounce rate of Google Analytics. Much to my surprise and horror, I found that my bounce rate was very high which equals not good. The Google Analytics bounce rate according to the Google Analytics site is:

Let me first start off by saying I AM NOT A LAWYER, nor do I have any legal training in any way. Now that I have gotten that out of the way, I would like to address an element of the new FTC rules for endorsements that go into effect on December 1^st, 2009.

When I became aware of the new FTC rules for endorsements, I posed a question on a forum that I am a member of. The question was how does one protect themselves and follow the FTC guidelines while still mailing to there list? The question went unanswered, but many said that would get back to me. I don’t think that many people know what to do in the case of the new FTC Guidelines.
