The March 18th Movement
The March 18 Movement was named in order to honor Omid Reza Mirsayafi, an Iranian Blogger, who on that date in 2009 became the first blogger to die in prison. I believe that this date should be important to everyone and of course every blogger.

I feel very sad when I found out that a blogger die in prison. Actually what did she do until she’ll punished by Iranian goverment until die in prison?
Thank you very much for this. It is important. It’s very easy to think that everyone’s blogging to make a quick buck (which is also important: people need to eat) but forget the larger issue: this place is very, very important in terms of politics, education and awareness, and some people are very sensitive to what is being written.
