It all starts when some well-meaning (yet misdirected) person encourages a budding internet entrepreneur to “start in a niche they know alot about”, or base their business around “something they’re passionate about”…
As horrible as it may sound – they’ve unknowingly sent the hopeful entrepreneur down a path of false expectations, poor results and eventually – failure. In fact, the myth of “do what you love and the money will follow” has been responsible for more failure than likely any other influence – perhaps even more so than laziness or a lack of perseverance.
Getting high quality traffic to your website in today’s internet world can be extremely hard to say the least. However this is the only way for the millions of internet users to see your website out of the billions of websites on the internet. Trying to get your site highly ranked on the search engines out of the other billion people trying to do the same thing will be hard and overwhelming. Fortunately there are other ways to get the high targeted traffic you need to survive to your site.
As I have written in past posts, I attended the Midwest Super Conference and learned a wealth of information. As you well know by now Twitter is one place to be in you are a blogger, internet marketer etc. At the conference I learned much about Twitter and free sites that make Twitter easier to use. These sites are great especially if you are a busy person. The sites are below:
