Free Blog Traffic With Blog Carnivals

A simple way to increase your blog traffic and create more backlinks is by using blog carnivals.  They are an extremely easy way to generate more traffic and they are free.

To get started you need to go to http://www.blogcarnival.com and set up a new account, confirm your email address, and then login.

Now you are able to browse all carnivals to find the one that the best fit for your blog subject.  When you do find the correct category you will find that there are usually many blog carnivals to choose from.

After you have found the carnival that is suited to your blog, scroll down to where it says submit an article.  Now,  go to your blog and find a good article to submit.  This is important; it needs to be a quality article and one that you have written.

Put in the URL of your blog that links to the post that you are submitting.  The carnival will take a moment to retrieve the necessary information from your blog, if it does not, you can add in the fields yourself.

You then choose a category again and fill in some remarks in the remarks field.  Make this a brief summary of the post that you are submitting.  Once submitted you will receive an email receipt that your post has been submitted.

Your post, in most cases needs to be approved, so make sure it is a good one full of useful content.  Some blog carnivals have different dates of when they will update their articles so when submitting, check the date.  By doing this you know when your trackback to your post will be active and therefore track your stats.
