Businesses spend hundreds even thousands of dollars to develop aesthetically pleasing web sites. They spend even more on banner ads and other forms of web marketing. However, those same businesses often neglect the one area that could be the most beneficial to their site’s success – search engines.

A recent Georgia Tech study discovered that 85% of customers looking for vendors or suppliers used search engines to find them, but only those listed in the top 30 results ever generated a sizable stream of traffic.

Do It Right The First Time

When I first started blogging there were many things I did not do right the first time. If I would have known or taken the time to set things up correctly then I would not have spent as much time as I have correcting the issues.

I have gotten emails that have asked me the same questions about setting up and correcting issues. Although many of these things seem simple, many get so excited about blogging or getting up and running that they ignore the obvious, much like I did.

You all know I have published many posts on article marketing and I have done so because I truly believe in it. Article marketing is a method that will not go out of style in regards to traffic generation, SEO, etc. Whether you are a writer or not, you can generate large amounts of traffic and increase your income just by using article marketing.

I was one of those people who used to hear about article marketing all the time but completely ignored it, foolish on my part. Now, after I have started article marketing my traffic has increased and so have my sales.

Monetize Your Blog with Etology

There are numerous ways you can set up your blog to increase your income. One of the best ways I have found has been through advertisements.

I stumbled across a company and have been using it on some of my blogs. It has been a great advertisement tool for me and I have liked the results so far.

The company is called Etology. Etology allows you, as the publisher, to use different sizes of ads in your site. You can use text ads, banner ads, or both if you choose.
